The part-time Master's program "Artificial Intelligence for Connected Industries" (AI4CI) at the Îçҹ̽»¨ addresses the growing need for professionals who can integrate Artificial Intelligence (AI) into connected industrial systems. AI is considered a key technology of the future and is crucial across almost all sectors, including economy, science, health, and administration. The AI4CI program offers specialized training for professionals working in Industry 4.0, focusing on the integration of AI into connected environments, such as the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT).

AI4CI is designed for professionals in technical, scientific, and engineering fields who wish to expand their knowledge in AI. The program offers a flexible module structure, allowing students to tailor their study path and balance their professional commitments with their studies. The practical and international design of the program is supported by collaborations with renowned partner universities. These include the Conservatoire National des Arts et Métiers (CNAM) in Paris and CNAM Grand Est in Mulhouse, France; Avignon Université (AU) in Avignon, France; Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC) in Barcelona, Spain; National Technical University of Ukraine (NTUU) in Kyiv, Ukraine; and Universitatea Babeş-Bolyai (UBB) in Cluj-Napoca, Romania. These partnerships enable students to complete modules both in Ulm and at the partner universities, benefiting from a broad international network.

The School of Advanced Professional Studies (SAPS) is the joint centre for continuing academic education at Îçҹ̽»¨ and Îçҹ̽»¨ of Applied Sciences.

SAPS offers paid part-time master's programmes and microcredentials (certificate courses) in a blended learning format to optimally support part-time study.

The following qualifications can be obtained at SAPS: Microcredential, Certificate of Advanced Studies (CAS), Diploma of Advanced Studies (DAS) and Master of Science.

Our modern way of providing you with continuing education is blended learning, which combines didactically meaningful face-to-face events - which also serve as networking opportunities - with modern forms of e-learning. Our virtual desk with everything you need for learning is available to you online. Our microcredentials have a maximum of 20% synchronised events, which take place either at Îçҹ̽»¨ or online.
 

Microcredential 1 - 9 LP

Certificate of Advanced Studies (CAS) ≥ 10 LP

  • 1-3 certificate courses, can be booked individually

Components of the online learning environment

  • Cloud storage for data exchange and collaborative editing of documents
  • Teaching materials, exercises and self-tests are completed on the Moodle learning platform
  • Instructional videos are a central component of knowledge transfer
  • With the remote tool server , simulation environments can be edited directly from a web browser without having to install software on your own computer
  • Video conference rooms are integrated into the learning platform
  • Direct contact with fellow students, mentors and lecturers
  • Webinars held to support learning are recorded
  • Shared course calendar
  • The Nextcloud Collective portfolio software can be used to collaboratively work on learning projects
