KEMAI- Knowledge Infusion and Extraction for Explainable Medical AI
is a research training group funded by the (DFG). The structured doctoral programme aims to promote the interdisciplinary training of doctoral students from the fields of Computer Science, Medicine and Ethics in the field of explainable medical AI. The KEMAI team aims at combining the benefits of knowledge- and learning-based systems, to not only allow for state-of-the-art accuracy in medical diagnosis, but to also clearly communicate the obtained predictions to physicians, considering ethical implications within the medical decision process.
Project duration: January 2025 to December 2029
KEMAI is funded by the (GRK 3012).
